Abstract

This work explains the results of an experimental research in which six concrete floors made with prestress semi-cross girder have been built. It has been built three one span static floors and three overhanging floors to simulate continuous spans, having each one of the three a particular amount of reinforcement. The floors have been put under load at 28 days of age, keeping the long-term loading afterwards. As most important conclusions of this work, we can underline that the deflections obtained under service conditions, in those cases in which the floors cracked, were higher than those theoretically calculated using the inertia of the sections.
