Bridge of the railroad over the N-152, in Parets del Vallès

Abstract

The structure described in this article, consisting of a laterally displaced ?U? section composite deck with a metallic structure imbibed in the concrete, allows to resolve efficiently the constructive conditions and the existing clearance with a non frequent structural type. The problems of execution that arouse during the construction of the abutment number 1, determined a structural solution of this abutment with a foundation of precast concrete piles and jet-grouting reinforced columns. Over this jet-grouting reinforced columns remained the abutment reinforced concrete facing with the articulated base and retained with reinforcement as a reinforced earth.
