Arch-Bridge over Niñodaguía valley (Orense)
Abstract
In this paper an arch-bridge design is shown, which has been conceived on the base of erection simplicity and economy of materials. The 65 m span arch, composed of twin rectangular, full section rubs, gives support to a deck made of precast beams and slabs. Positive advantages of the arch solution at the right sites, such as economy, aesthetics and durability over the pure deck bridge type, are claimed here.
