Design bending moment laws of statically undermined slabs with prestressed joists. Experimental analysis up to failure
Abstract
Results of up to failure tests on statically undetermined slabs made up of precast prestressed joists, ceramic blocks and ""in situ"" topping are described. Three different design bending moment laws were analyzed. Although the security level (ultimate load vs service load) was acceptable, the necessity of analyzing the influence of superabundant reinforcement in critical sections, when insufficient ductility is provided by strict design, is also pointed out.
