Torre Espacio. Construction aspects in the structure building

Abstract

The construction of large high rise buildings involves a radical change in the usual construction techniques in standard buildings, which commences with the right design of the on-site implementation, technology and efficient use of the auxiliary resources, the use of the latest generation of materials and systematic application of different, unique building techniques whose essential aim is to obtain the greatest production performance with a high quality level at the least cost possible. All these aspects were fundamental during the Torre Espacio building?s construction, of which a synthesised but highly illustrative description is given of the processes that set the construction rate and which, in the end, were the key to success.
