Dynamic testing of stayed bridges

Abstract

Two of the more representative stayed bridges: Puente de Rande and Puente del Centenario, have been tested dynamically for obtaining modes and damping. The excitation, instrumentation and analysis methodology is described. One of the bridges, the Rande bridge, have been tested two times with an interval of 14. Comparison of the results in both experiments is described also.
