Precast prestressed bridges. Recent achievements

Abstract

Several construction examples of Precast Prestressed multiple span bridges are shown. Built with box beam elements, prestressed in the factory and later connected with each other by means of an external prestressing, thus forming a multiple span bridge. Constant and variable depth bridge examples are shown.
