Abstract

The big traditional reinforced concrete structure of the main grandstand and the large space existing under it that shelter a complex set of functional and security areas, includes interesting ancillary substructures such as: - Large prestressed concrete cantilever girders with asymmetrical and discontinuous cross sections that support the rear areas of the upper stand, crowned by a large spiral balcony girder as a peripherical finish. - Very slender Vierendel composite girders that allow the insertion, with minimum depth, of broad cast and TV cabins, hanged from the lower side of the principal stand frames.
