Prefabrication of arch bridges. Examples
Abstract
It is shown an example of the widening of an arch bridge, first built in 1930, belonging to the D. Eugenio Ribera collection. The widening from 6 m. to 9,50m has been made with precast arches, struts and cantilevers with high performance concrete, being extremely respectful with the original bridge. The resulting bridge is built with the most advanced construction technologies and from the formal point of view, very respectful with the former historic bridge.
