Abstract

To avoid the demolition of an underway concrete structure ("pergola" type) during the lane?s enlargement civil work of the N-VI highway, that was located in a heavy traffic area, it was necessary to reinforce the beams by external pretensioning, to enlarge the slab accordingly and to extend the "pergola" with a similar structure, being all this done without diurnal traffic interceptions at any moment.
