Abstract

the article describes the design and constructio of the Riocobayo composite arch which has 168 m span. First it explains the construction phases that desing has been taken in account. Then it explains the actual construction process and the difficulties that it has. Special attention has been paid to the different prestressing operation and by the, ather hand to stell pieces fabrication at factory.
