Rehabilitation of a bridge over river Ebro in Frías

Abstract

The refurbishment of a 5-span plain concrete arch bridge, 70 years old and with significant damages is described. The tests and inspections carried out to obtain additional information on the structure are also presented, as well as the use of these complementary data for the assessment of structural safety. To this end reliability methods have been applied.
