Abstract

The present work of investigation sets out like main objective to study, by means of an analysis non-linear, the behaviour of the shear walls of masonry front of the main loads that subjected, using like tool for the analysis two developed techniques of modelling properly for the masonry, based on the Finite Elements Method. For it has been made the validation of the techniques of micro and macromodelling of the Finite Element program DIANA with the tests made on masonry of concrete blocks simple and reinforced, subjected to stress in-plane.
