A practical and safe formulation of the analysis of punching shear of slabs sufficiently adapted to their actual behaviour

Abstract

We believe it is posible to set up a simple formulation on punching shear of slabs, considering the critical perimeter at 0,5 d from the edge of the columns and varying the shear strength of the concrete. Such variation is set up depending on where the slab columns are located: internal columns, edge columns and corner columns.
