Abstract

The finishes and complementary works, executed after the construction of the structure, are essential for correct operation under service and to assure user comfort. Due to the uniqueness of the conditions established in the Constitución de 1812 bridge over the Cádiz Bay it has been necessary to design several specific elements: expansion joints, bearings, anti-seismic devices, drainage elements, waterproofing, asphalt, containment systems, wind barriers, buoyage and beaconage
