Carballino Paper Museum. An outstanding building structure

Abstract

This article shows the main features of the Paper Museum structure in Carballino Council, Orense (Spain). The main element of this outstanding proposal is a reinforced concrete wall that generates the architectural geometry. From a structural point of view, this element works as a retaining wall and at the same time it allows the glass volume of the exhibition hall to cantilever.
